Stop by and take a look / in every cranny and every nook

Hans and I started this endeavor with our family in mind. At every point of decision making we asked ourselves, "How will we use this? How will it hold up with the kids?" Over and over the most basic question we had to answer was this: how will we live in this space?

By the time this remodel was completed, however, we were given the opportunity to invest our time, energy, and heart into a different project. And I couldn't be happier. This home was not the starting point we thought it would be: the start of our first family home, the start of roots growing down deep into a community, the start of unpacking boxes and hanging wedding and baby pictures. Instead, it has been the start of something entirely different.

This home has been the start of something incredibly good.

And I'm excited to share more with you as our plans unfold. So stay tuned!  [Update here!]

So for now, like you, I enjoy and reflect on these photos of a home full of light, possibility, and future.
