Piedmont Home Tour

This lofty, tree-house-feeling sort of home sits above the street and at the base of the Franklin Mountains and I love the casual southwest vibe it's got going on.

This home was meant for my sister. We were supposed to be neighbors. But life had other plans: Hans and I ended up selling Galloway and she's doing her boss thang in Dallas (O+CO.)

And I think we're all the better for it.

So this sweet home was bought, and remodeled (as it had all sorts of electrical, plumbing, and layout issues) for Hannah and ultimately is now on the market.

And on Saturdays (when I host the Open House) I have the distinct privilege to sit in the sunroom, peruse instagram and pinterest, and look out at the mountains. All. By. My. Self.

And man, is it delicious.

What was your favorite feature of the home?

Mine's a toss up between the sconces in the entry, the sweet lil desk area in the kid's bedroom, the marble in the niches, or the custom wood stain.

It's all in the details for sure!
