This home is in an excellent location— just minutes away from downtown and walking distance to cute shops, trailheads, and restaurants. It has sweeping views and lots of space. The only problem was the inefficient floor plan.
The master suite had a teeny tiny ensuite bathroom. The kid’s bathroom was also incredibly small. The front door opened onto a wall, and while the basement was huge, it was completely unfinished with no way to enter except to go outside and go around back. As I said— incredibly inefficient.
We took down the wall that stopped you before you could even get inside, enlarged the master ensuite, enlarged the kid’s bathroom, added a staircase (!), and fixed up the basement.
